Fine Watches
Rappaport Jewelry Buyers has the largest inventory of pre-owned Rolex watches in the Southeast! Our customers come from all over to do business with us. We carry a much larger inventory of Rolex accessories than other stores. In fact, we have over 300 Rolex dials. Therefore, if you find a watch that you like, but want a different dial, we can make that change for you on-site. In addition, we carry a large selection of 18K white or yellow gold bezels set with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, or emeralds, links, and all the new Rolex boxes. We also carry a large selection of new and pre-owned watches such as Cartier, Breitling, Patek Phillippe, and other fine watches.
Any pre-owned watch purchased by Rappaport Jewelry Buyers has passed many inspections. We meticulously check every watch both inside and out. We completely service and overhaul the movement when necessary and refinish the exterior case and band of each watch, bringing them to like-new condition. All of our work is done by our in-house master watch maker. Grigoriy has over 30 years experience and has been with Rappaport Jewelry Buyers for over 10 years. He is experienced with all watches and is a long-standing member of the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute.
Diamonds
We have a large selection of loose and mounted diamonds. All of our mounted diamonds are set in either gold or platinum. We also offer our customers an exquisite selection of estate jewelry. At Rappaport Jewelry Buyers, our buyers have over 100 years combined experience in buying diamonds. We use only GIA grading standards. All of our certified stones have either GIA or EGL certificates. We do not deal with color or clarity-enhanced diamonds. We guarantee only the finest stones. We have over 100 years combined experience in the jewelry business, and have been in the same location since 1990. Rappaport Jewelry Buyers, a division of Happy Hocker Pawn, is family-owned. We’re not after the one-time sale. Rather, we want to take care of all your watch and jewelry needs today, next year, and ten years from now. We have an in-house master watchmaker with 30 years experience and an in-house jeweler with 12 years experience. All of our watches and jewelry have been cleaned, serviced, and refinished to make every piece look brand new.

Who We Are
Art Rappaport is an Atlanta native. Owner and founder of Rappaport Jewelry Buyers/Happy Hocker Pawn, Art Rappaport, began his career in numismatics at age 20. Art owned and operated Supreme Coin Company at age 22. At age 24, he then worked for Shilo Gold Exchange (Macon Georgia), traveling the southeast calling on pawn and jewelry stores buying and selling coins, scrap gold and diamonds. Through his travels he met the owner of CBS Coin Company, a large manufacturer of gold coin jewelry out of Miami, Florida, and by age 25 he purchased the company. After working out of an office for four years he then realized how much he missed the excitement of dealing with the public and merged CBS Coin & Jewelry Company with Atlanta Jewelry Connection, and eventually purchased the company.
Art developed a love for beautiful jewelry including fine estate pieces, diamonds and Rolex watches and wanted to open a pawnshop to experience the excitement of seeing every unique piece that may come through the door. Finally, in 1990, after a two-year search, he found the ideal location in Sandy Springs (just 20 minutes north of Atlanta) and opened Happy Hocker Pawn, the parent company of Rappaport Jewelry Buyers. Art’s knowledge of wholesaling is still very much part of the overall operation.
Lisa Rappaport, Art's wife, has been an asset to the Happy Hocker Pawn/Rappaport Jewelry Buyers business since 1995. With a BA in management from Georgia Tech and an eye for fine jewelry, she is involved primarily in choosing jewelry for the Rappaport line and working with customers designing unique one-of-a-kind pieces.
Howard Rappaport, brother of the owner, is a 38-year jewelry business expert and manages the storefront. An expert gemologist, he was a diamond buyer for twelve years for Citizens Jewelry’s four stores, and went on to manage Ellman’s Jewelers. His trained eye for value is a critical component of the exclusive Rappaport line.
